Odyssey® Labneh Coffee Cake

Ingredients

Cake Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup Odyssey® Labneh
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Streusel Topping Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Glaze Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Odyssey® Labneh
  • 1 tbsp butter, softened
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° Prepare two 9” round pans or one 9”x13” cake pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Cream together butter, labneh, sugar and eggs.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine milk and vanilla. Add to labneh mixture, stirring well to combine.
  4. Sift dry ingredients together and then add to labneh mixture, stirring well to combine.
  5. Spoon mixture into pan(s).
  6. Mix together streusel ingredients and sprinkle over cake mixture. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes (9” pan) or 35 minutes (9×13 pan).
  7. Once cake has cooled slightly, drizzle with glaze.
